Augustine Cemetery has seen a recent increase of Cremain burials especially within family plots. We have beautiful cemeteries located throughout Kennebec County and many plots are available. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, please maintain a 6 feet distance while visiting the cemetery, we strongly encourage small groups of 5 people or less when gathering at the cemeteryĪs maintenance costs for our cemeteries continue to increase annually, we must enforce these rules to preserve precious perpetual care funds set aside to pay for these expenses.No Statues unless they are a permanent part of an upright Monument/headstone.No shrubs, bushes, or perennial flowers.Do not plant flowers or insert artificial flowers directly in the ground.
No items made of glass or porcelain (i.e.No Solar lights, candles, and/or solar powered decorations of any kind.No Shepherd’s hooks (regardless of height).No Landscape stone, bricks, pavers, bark mulch, curbing or decorative rocks permitted.No Borders or edging of any kind around headstones, markers or grave.As we prepare to observe Memorial Day, we ask that you please remember the following guidelines for our parish cemeteries:
